JDA Software provides supply chain management software that leverages the cloud to serve its customers in the travel, hospitality and transportation fields. JDA is a mid cap company and ranks in third place in the supply chain industry behind SAP and Oracle. Some analysts believe that the company is well-positioned for growth, as it boasts high client retention rates and a robust revenue stream.

Its earnings are expected to increase by 13% in 2011. Part of the company's success is that it focuses on keeping up with the latest technology, which most recently involves a push into cloud computing. The company was prescient enough to see the supply management potential in cloud computing years before it became a buzz word, and they are profiting from that early mover advantage now.
